Wendy Tyner of Tyner & Associates is the State’s premier expert on finding grants for events. She has compiled a comprehensive exclusive list of grant opportunities for festival and event organizers – she’ll bring a handout of where you can find new revenue! She will also provide offer strategies for writing and securing grants along with effective ways to sustain grants over time.

Event Safety and Security: Planning for and Managing the Unexpected at Your Event

This session will examine and guide the event organizer on the best practices and contingencies encountered to provide for an expected level of safety and security at an event. Led by the state’s expert on event safety, this session will also cover Active Shooter Preparedness and crowd management training.
