Whether you’re an event in a small market, or someone battling the big guys in the city, this seminar is for you. Although producing events in a small town can be similar to staging them in a large city, there are still differences.
This seminar, presented by the WFEA-Thurston County Chapter, will take a deep look on how events in a small market or small events in a big market can go to the next level.

It can never be stressed enough that event organizers need to look through the eyes of sponsors, and that we need to look first at achieving their goals. Many event organizers still enter meetings wanting strictly to fund their events, overlooking this all important step.

In light of the active violence at events in Gilroy, California and Las Vegas, we’ll take a look at how we embrace the disaster planning process. Join us as we outline the who, what, why, when, where and how building blocks to create a plan. You can’t always prevent a disaster, but you prepare for them.
